The new addition to the airwaves is to start test transmission from the first week of May 2009.

Kross Radio 97.1 the radio station was established to fill a vacuum, give voice to the voiceless and also to help reach the hitherto unreachable within the Community.

The radio station, a result of intense research, by an ambitious pro-active mind, came to be about a year ago and the delay in going on air was due largely to getting set to bring out the best without compromising quality programming.

This is what total communication is all about.

We are coming out with a bang, doing radio like never before with the sole aim of providing informative, educative and qualitative programming while also entertaining for the listening pleasure of our target audience.

We are very much aware of the intense rivalry within this sector, but we have come in peace and with peace. We will stretch out our hand of peace to others for a healthy and harmonious partnership, by co-operating in areas of interest for mutual benefits.

We are national as to reach. Listeners can also get us on the DAB.

Whether you live in Dalston/Hackney, or as far as North England, the Midlands, check your dial we are LIVE. We are also LIVE on the web at and on London 97.1.

KrossRadio 97.1, though set up by a Nigerian, will not only serve the Nigerian community, but anyone and everyone who listen to radio will have something to gain by learning and being entertained.

We therefore welcome opinions, suggestions, views even advice from all well meaning people within the community as to how we can serve them better.

Advertisers will get their money worth when they advertise their products, goods, services or events on KrossRadio 97.1

With an OB, (Outside Broadcast Equipment) we can cover live events for news or advert purposes.

Here we come. KrossRadio 97.1 it’s ours, let’s embrace it.
